MyMoneyGOAT builds free, no-signup financial calculators for everyday money decisions in Canada and the United States, from deciding whether to keep or sell a rental property, to sizing up a mortgage, car loan, or lease, to estimating your tax refund.

Why we built it

Most big financial decisions come down to a few numbers, but the tools to run them are often buried behind logins, email walls, or advice that quietly steers you toward one product. We wanted a set of clean, accurate calculators that just answer the question, and explain the assumptions behind the answer.

Who's behind it

MyMoneyGOAT is operated by the MyMoneyGOAT team, based in British Columbia, Canada. We build and maintain the tools, keep the data current, and stand behind the transparency of how the site is funded.

How we keep it free

The site is supported by advertising, affiliate partnerships, and optional lead-referral features, all disclosed openly. None of them change the math the calculators produce. You can read exactly how it works in our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.

A note on accuracy

Every tool is built on standard financial formulas and published data, but the results are educational estimates, not professional advice. Tax figures in particular can be projections for the year ahead, and vehicle values are rough estimates rather than appraisals. For anything important, check with a qualified professional.
