MyMoneyGOAT is free to use. To keep it that way, we earn money in a few clearly-labeled ways. We believe in being upfront about all of them. This disclosure is provided in the spirit of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guides and the Canadian Competition Bureau's guidance on transparent advertising.

Display advertising

We show ads through advertising networks such as Google AdSense. These ads are marked as advertisements and are served by third parties who may use cookies to personalize what you see. You can learn how to control ad personalization in our Privacy Policy.

Affiliate and sponsored links

Some links to lenders, insurers, tax software, and other financial products are affiliate or sponsored links. If you click one and sign up or make a purchase, we may receive a commission. These links are marked with rel="sponsored" and do not cost you anything extra. Examples of partners this may include over time: mortgage and loan marketplaces, landlord-insurance providers, and tax-filing software.

Vehicle-offer lead referrals

The car calculator includes a "what's your car worth" form. When you submit it, your details are shared with participating dealers or automotive partners so they can send you offers, and we may be paid a referral fee for connecting you. Our commitment to honest tools

Advertising and affiliate relationships never influence the calculations. The formulas behind every tool are based on standard financial math and published data, not on what any advertiser would prefer you to see. If a calculator says financing is cheaper than leasing for your inputs, that's what it will show, regardless of who advertises on the page.
